Every slight alteration has a profound influence on our whisky – for us, details aren’t an afterthought, they’re everything. Who is behind the camera is just as important as what’s in front of it.
We are delighted to partner with renowned photographer François Halard, whose eye catches the inheritance of choices that make up our homes and sense of being.
We are honoured to be featured in the three homes of: John Pawson, pioneering minimalist architectural designer in the Cotswolds, the fashion brand Self-Portrait’s founder and creative director Han Chong in London, and the Paris home of Julie de Libran, a couture designer known for her work at Prada, Versace, Louis Vuitton, and her eponymous brand.
Hauser & Wirth
Founded in 1992, Hauser & Wirth has become one of the most influential forces in contemporary art.
With more than 15 global locations, including London, New York, Paris and Hong Kong, the gallery is renowned for its museum-quality exhibitions, commitment to education, and reshaping the contemporary art landscape into a more inclusive and intellectually vibrant domain.
The gallery shares The Glenrothes’ values of Enrichment and Community, known for representing talent before their work is commercially viable, supporting emerging creatives through sustained collaborations with non-profits, mentorship programs and education labs. Their cultural spaces worldwide serve as hubs for workshops, symposia and interdisciplinary exchange.
Studio Indigo
Studio Indigo is an award-winning collection of dynamic and diverse architects and talented interior designers with a multi-disciplinary approach. Their studio is renowned for timeless spaces of distinct character and story-laden interiors that are deeply personal and bespoke. Studio Indigo are behind the incredible design of Philos and have recently completed the interior design of our beautiful Highland home; Rothes House.

Little Halstock are a clan of master craftsmen who collaborate with world-class designers to reimagine the familiar. Working in partnership with Studio Indigo and The Glenrothes, Little Halstock were the luxury makers who brought Philos to life.

The Glenrothes Commission
Creating our whisky is a constant dance between creation and conservation; knowing when to intervene and when to let things be. For our first commission, we sought an artist to wrestle with these same themes and produce a work that would resonate well beyond the bounds of whisky.
As an artist, Miya Kosowick delves into the intersection of the controlled and natural worlds, drawing on the Japanese philosophy of uchi-soto ( 内外). Her practice echoes our philosophy of transforming the elemental through innovation whilst balancing the tension between creation and conservation, making her the perfect choice for our first commission.
